I am an Ankeny resident born and raised, with family roots in the community going back to the 1980s. After graduating from Ankeny Centennial High School, I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Iowa State University. I served as an Iowa legislative clerk in 2022, which inspired my curiosity in public service. Since then I have been involved in political advocacy, campaigns, and community volunteering.​

Why I want to serve on Ankeny City Council

I decided to run for city council because I believe Ankeny should be a community that everyone can thrive in. Our city is currently a great place to live, if you can afford it. Unfortunately, far too many people I know have been priced out of Ankeny. To restore affordability and further improve our quality of life we require leaders willing to face the evolving needs of our community. A new generation with fresh ideas is necessary, and I hope to bring that to city council.
