I am an Ankeny resident born and raised, with family roots in Ankeny going back to the 1990s. After graduating from Ankeny Centennial High School, I went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Iowa State University. I served as a legislative clerk in 2022, which inspired my curiosity in public service. Since then I have been involved in political advocacy and community volunteering.​

Why I want to serve on Ankeny City Council

I decided to run for city council because I believe Ankeny should to be a community that everyone can thrive in. Our city is currently a great place to live, but to keep it that way we need leaders willing to face the new challenges our community faces. I believe a new generation with fresh ideas are necessary for Ankeny to maintain its status as one of the best cities in the country.
